A BETTER WAY TO PLAY LEAGUE.
The Louisiana USSSA League Program is developed to give the league players the same experience as tournament teams. With mid-season tournaments for league teams and post season all-star events. The all-star events are designed for the experience and development. USSSA league and all-star programs are designed to give players the experience of playing in tournaments, State Championships, Nationals and World Series events without the financial or time commitment of playing on a full-time tournament team.
HOW THE LEAGUE WORKSMID-SEASON LEAGUE TOURNAMENTS
Mid-season league tournaments are designed to play teams from different leagues in your regional area. These tournaments help league players get the tournament environment experience without the financial or time commitment of playing on a full-time tournament team.

01FLEXIBLE FORMATUSSSA does not mandate your league rules. Use your local rules for league games.
02WEBSITE ACCESSUSSSA-sanctioned leagues have full access to our website and all its functions. This includes scheduling and scoring.
03ALL-STARSUSSSA leagues select all-stars teams to compete in all-star tournaments. These tournaments include State Championships, Nationals and World Series. Every all-star team qualifies for every all-star event. USSSA does not use a win-to-advance model.

01What is the cost to Sanction a League with USSSA?
It costs $20 per league team to register the league in the USSSA system. This gives league directors access to the USSSA website and all its capabilities.
02Does USSSA offer Insurance for Leagues?
Yes. Leagues can purchase team insurance for each league team. The insurance policy is discounted when multiple team insurance policies are purchased.
03Does USSSA require Background Checks?
Yes. USSSA is SafeSport compliant and requires all coaches to pass a background check.
04Does USSSA offer Baseball and Fastpitch?
Yes. USSSA offers both baseball leagues and fastpitch leagues.
05Are we allowed to use Modified Coach Pitch Rules?
Yes. USSSA allows leagues to adjust the rules as needed to fit their needs.
06Does USSSA require Leagues to follow Mandated Rules during League Play?
No. As a local league, you can decide how your league operates. Leagues can have rules specifically tailored to fit their requirements. USSSA provides a set of rules and guidelines for both baseball and fastpitch. These rules can be modified to fit your specific requirements.
07Does USSSA offer an All-Star Program?
Yes. USSSA has several tournaments for All-Stars. All-Star teams are eligible for State Championships, Nationals and World Series events. The USSSA All-Star model does not require teams to win to advance. All teams are eligible for State Championships, Nationals and World Series events.
08What is the cost of All-Stars?
If a league is registered with USSSA, there is no cost associated with creating an All-Star team. Events have costs associated with entry fees and umpire fees. There may also be gate fees to enter on the day of an event.
09Does USSSA limit how many All-Star Teams a League can register?
No. A registered USSSA league can have as many All-Star teams in an age group as it wants.
